Want to get hit & exceed your numbers?

Follow these Keep It Simple Skills for doing just that.


Step One:  Set your targets

Know where you are going and where you want to go, broken down by month and by revenue from new and existing clients.

Step Two:  Break it down.

This is where most people fall down.  They set the targets, but don't break them down into activities that can be tracked and reported on.

Step Three:  Track it

If you don't track it ... it won't happen.  As one of my first bosses said, 'Don't expect what you don't inspect'.

Step Four:  Make it public

Tell others your plans and put your tracking sheet somewhere it is highly visible to you and others.

Step Five:  Be accountable

Reporting to somone often (weekly and at least monthly) helps to keep you focused and on track.

Step Six:  Celebrate the wins

Champagne?  Chocolate?  What ever it is ... make sure you celebrate your wins in a way you love!
